If your practice includes Equine Radiography or Off-Site General Radiography, and you have made the transition to digital, your routine is probably to take the radiographs and process the plates in the CR in the field. Upon return to your home base you usually proceed to store the studies from your CR in your server then transmit them to the radiologist or other physicians as required. The time lag between the radiograph being taken to when it’s viewable by the radiologist may be several hours or longer. MobileWeb consists of a portable laptop computer with built-in high-performance DICOM web server providing immediate remote image viewing via web access. Upon taking your radiographs, your images are pushed directly to the laptop from your CR and made available on the web either at your client’s location (if an Internet connection is present) or at any of the free WiFi connections commonly available throughout the country. MobileWeb is also compatible with Verizon and Sprint wireless Internet services to give you complete mobility. Using one of the several free dynamic DNS services available, your server can easily be found and logged into by any authorized user for image viewing. Your images are available wherever there is an Internet connection. And, since MobileWeb uses the same FastPACS server technologies as in our other products, you can be assured of the fastest possible image transmission times available regardless of your connection speed. When you return to your home base, you burn your studies to CD or DVD for permanent storage or push them to our WebWorkstation. You can also produce CD’s in the field to hand to your client, with each disk having a built-in viewer and fully DICOM Part 10 compliant. MobileWeb will interface to any DICOM 3.0 Compliant CR.
