If your digital imaging practice includes Off-Site General Radiography, Emergency Portable Radiography, Equine Radiography or practically any other mobile imaging, your greatest challenge is image availability. How do you have your images available to clinicians and radiologists on a timely basis? The routine of processing CR plates in the field then sending them to a dedicated server when you have returned your vehicle to home base is often not acceptable. In fact, the time lag between a radiograph being taken to when it’s viewable by the radiologist may exceed several hours or longer. If immediate image availability is critical, MobileWeb is the answer.

MobileWeb consists of a rugged Panasonic Toughbook® 30 portable laptop computer with built-in high-performance FastPACS web server to provide immediate remote image viewing via web access. Upon taking your radiographs, the images you’ve sent to MobileWeb are instantly available while on-site via built-in 3G Mobile Broadband (1) or at any free public WiFi connections commonly available throughout the country. By using one of the several free dynamic DNS services available, your server can easily be found and logged into by any authorized user for image viewing. With this technology, your images are available immediately after they are taken. And, since MobileWeb uses the same FastPACS web server technologies as in our other products, you can be assured of the fastest possible image transmission times available regardless of your connection speed. MobileWeb is available to clients using essentially any computer operating system including the Apple iPad and iPhone and requires no application or applet installation. Then, when you return to your home base, you simply burn your studies to CD or DVD for permanent storage or send them to a dedicated archive. You can also produce CD’s in the field to hand to your client, with each disk having a built-in viewer and fully DICOM Part 10 compliant.
