Archiving

 

At the core of FastPACS is the image archive. Images received by the archive are available for immediate viewing on any networked computer through the web interface. Being a standards-based system, the archive is fully DICOM queriable from any DICOM device that provides this function. Studies are also automatically routed to your computer running the supplied Workstation software.

Web Viewing

 

Web Viewing is fast and easy with no applet or application installations required. Your images are available immediately and with one click you can locate previous studies on the same patient. You can find patient studies based on Patient Name, Patient ID, modality, exam date or combinations thereof. Web viewing is possible on virtually any computer regardless of the operating system.

Multiple users may simultaneously review studies and Tablet PC’s are supported, which allows you to construct a wireless network to view images throughout your office. Also, if you have a secure connection, you can view patient images from your home.

 

Workstation Viewing

 

For sophisticated image manipulation, FastPACS includes FDA-Certified iQ-VIEW Workstation software. In addition to expanded image review capabilities, patient studies may be printed or exported in various formats for inclusion in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint presentations. Patient identifiers can be easily removed for confidentiality.

CD Creation

 

Create Patient CD’s at your Workstation with each disk having an integrated viewer deposited on it. You may also import images into your FastPACS if a patient arrives with their images on a disk from another institution and have these studies part of your patient’s permanent record. 

 

Speed with Simplicity

When your examination is completed, your images are available instantly via Web Distribution throughout your facility and immediately routed to your Workstation. The FastPACS web viewer simplifies finding previous studies on patients requiring only a simple click to display a list of previous exams and thumbnail previews of the studies.

Expansion and Versatility

When your practice expands and you add future DICOM Imaging Devices, they are accommodated by FastPACS at no additional cost. FastPACS supports virtually unlimited DICOM Workstations, and you can use any modern computer for web image review.
