LaserPro16: General Troubleshooting
 
Most issues with the Radlink LaserPro16 Film Digitizer can be resolved by performing the following procedures:
 
Symptoms:
1) Scanner “hangs” or produces no image.
2) Stretched image or a “runaway” scan.
3) Skewed or split image.
 
Cause: Computer and digitizer needs reboot.
 
Solution:
1) Safely logoff computer and completely power down.
2) Power off digitizer.
3) Open and close door on back of digitizer. Check that door latches closed properly.
4) Power up computer and login.
5) Switch on digitizer.
 
Symptom:
Spots and/or streaks on scanned image.
 
Cause: Detector assembly and lens assembly are dirty.
 
Solution:
Open back of digitizer and wipe lens assembly clean. Look for and remove any remnants of stickers from scanned films or any other foreign material.
