If you find that a patient query does not return the results you expect, that is, you know patient exams are present when they are not displayed, you may need to clear the cache of the browser you are using. Particularly, Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 tends to “hold on” to stored pages and does not properly update the browser with new information.
Fortunately, this is easy to fix:
In Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 go to Tools => Delete Browsing History. Under Temporary Internet Files, click “Delete files...”. This will delete the cache of stored pages and force a refresh of loading your FastPACS Browser Pages.
